Make it- Embroidery Hoop Cork Board

A very pretty way for pinning up small notes, fabric swatches...

Make it- Embroidery Hoop Cork Board

Supplies:
-Embroidery hoop ( I bought mine at a thrift store for 25 cents)
-Cork board (enough to fit in hoop)
-Fabric (a little bigger than the size of your hoop)
-Cardstock
-Glue gun and glue
-Scissors
-Marker

Step 1:
  • Using your hoop as a pattern, cut out your cardstock and corkboard.

Step 2:
  • Now use the hoop to measure and cut your fabric. But this time cut a much larger circle around outside of hoop. (Always better to have extra than too little)
  • This is what your pieces should look like:

Step 3:
  • Now place your fabric in between hoop rings. (make the fabric very taut)

Step 4:
  • Place your corkboard circle in hoop.

Step 5:
  • Glue along the inside edges of hoop.
  • Press your overhanging fabric onto glue.

Step 6:
  • Press your overhanging fabric onto glue.

Step 7:
  • Add more glue and place your cardstock in hoop to cover fabric edging to finish.

Now go hang it on your wall.
